Day One – Tel Megiddo Water

Allan liked the tunnel connecting the spring and its the safe water source to the city. We walked down the tunnel and out through the exit. This was one of the earliest such water projects known to humankind. Since the springs were outside of the city walls, the tunnel allowed them to close up the outside access to the spring and help the city survive outside threats. Here is a picture of Alvin Huie walking down the long set of stairs.
